included leadership of acquisition regulatory team responsible to obtain regulatory approval and
integration of two nuclear power plant acquisitions.
Quality Oversight - Provided management of the nuclear oversight support for a Power Station to
improve the Station Performance. Managed performance assessment of the station’s functional and
cross-functional areas. Provided oversight and assessment of plant activities during scheduled and
forced outages. Identified deficiencies in Station performance and provided Senior Station Management
with insights on potential performance improvement areas.
Site Leadership Positions - Supervised employees performing fire protection, industrial safety,
environmental protection, and chemical control. Managed the site implementation of aggressive hazardous
waste source and volume reduction strategies that reduced costs and volumes from the large quantity
generator to small quantity generator status. Also managed engineering group for new systems and
modifications for major plant support systems, including development of a performance based engineering
contract with bonus/penalty compensation based on quality, schedule and cost performance.
